Contact dermatitis is a skin disease. Occupations such as hair stylists, makeup artists, jewellery makers, furniture makers, construction workers, cleaners, etc put a person in high risk of contact dermatitis. Although these allergens cannot be tested through a IgE blood test, a skin patch test can identify these allergens and help to avoid them.
